These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with scrip at their stores. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for American Legion Baseball. Welcome American Legion Baseball Fans:

It is with great pleasure that the Lewis Clark Post #13 American Legion Baseball Board introduce the 2008 Lewis Clark Twins and Cubs baseball teams. Since 1939 the baseball committee of Post #13 has had a goal to give every young player the chance to experience the thrill of victory while learning the importance of teamwork and self-discipline. Since 1925, The American Legion has sponsored a nationwide youth baseball program. During these past eight decades, millions of young players have enjoyed playing baseball. It is our committee’s goal to give players in the LC Valley an opportunity to develop their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities, and to have fun.

There is no doubt about it – Lewiston is a great baseball community. Look around our community and see the multitude of different baseball organizations. From the NAIA World Series to our Little League programs, the Lewis Clark Valley loves baseball.

Many dollars are raised each year for players to learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship. None of this would be possible without the support and pride of our community. It is rewarding for our program and volunteer members to be a positive influence in the lives of this valleys youth and tomorrows future. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all of the fans, parents, coaches and sponsors for their continued support.

We would like to invite all of you to come to Harris Field and let our youth entertain you in a good game of baseball. We appreciate the opportunity to again put a fine group of young men on the field that will represent this great community in which we live.
